Samsung has presented its very latest Windows phone in the market. This is perhaps one of a kind as this is coming from Samsung – the best Android seller. Sony on the other hand has come up with this moderate range phone which seems to have very smartly accumulated features.
Samsung ATIV SE
It is a very good looking phone, released in April 2014. It has fast 4G connectivity and a single SIM slot.
Design & Display
This phone has an AMOLED capacitive touch screen enriched with 16 M colors and 1080 x 1920 pixels on its screen. A screen resolution of approximately 441ppi is enough to make this phone appear brighter. It is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 as well.
Specifications, Camera & Battery
The phone has 16GB internal memory and a 2GB RAM. We cannot complain about the speed and capacity of this phone as it is based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset and sports a 2.3
GHz Quad core processor. It also has 13 mega pixels camera but besides LED and autofocus, the camera does not have any bright features. It has a secondary camera too, which records high resolution (1080p) videos. Li-Ion 2600 mAh battery fully supports the workings of this Microsoft Windows Phone 8 based device.
Sony Xperia M2
This phone has a higher 4G and 3G capacity unlike the ATIV SE. There may be a lot of other features which are better compared to ATIV SE, even though it is cheaper in comparison. They are well worth having a look at.

Compared to ATIV SE, this phone does have a dimmer display. It has a TFT capacitive touch screen of 4.8 inch length. On this display it has 540 x 960 pixels resolution, which makes it an almost 229 pixels per inch. It has a scratch resistant glass and multi touch up to 4 fingers.

It has an 8 GB internal memory and a 1 GB RAM support. It has a very good camera feature. The 8 mega pixels camera features all the required features like image stabilization, HDR, Panorama and so on. These things are lacking in the ATIV SE’s 13 mega pixel camera. It has a high quality Quad core processor which makes processing a breeze. Besides that, you can upgrade the Android OS to its latest KitKat version.
Overall
Sony Xperia M2 has quite good features. In fact it is better than ATIV SE in terms of SIM connection options and camera features. It is also lower in price and hence you will not miss much if you go for this.
