Coming right after the exciting reveal for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s multiplayer gameplay, Sledgehammer Games have revealed a new singleplayer campaign level video, entitled ‘Collapse’. In this gameplay, the player starts out in a car chase down a highway and ends up crashing on the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. The player then fights his way through the bridge against Exo suit powered soldiers whilst using Exo suit abilities and futuristic weaponry. The gameplay ends with a stunning set piece that really puts the ‘photorealism’ of Advanced Warfare’s graphics to the test. Check out the new gameplay below and tell us what you think of the campaign so far.
Advanced Warfare’s multiplayer reveal event took place yesterday, giving us a comprehensive look at the evolution of Call of Duty’s core gameplay. All of the Exo suit abilities and mobility enhancements will be present throughout all of multiplayer, with an extensive amount of soldier customization and the addition of the Pick 13 weapon class system. Sledgehammer isn’t pulling any punches with this game and it looks like they’re doing everything they can to listen to gamer feedback and make this Call of Duty experience the biggest one yet.
So far, we’ve seen the impressive new single player campaign as well as the all new multiplayer gameplay, and there’s sure to be even more modes to be revealed very soon. A co-op mode has been confirmed, however no details have been given as to if it’s like Infinity Ward’s survival type modes or more like a Zombies/ Extinction type mode.
