EA Sports has officially unveiled the latest Team of the Week for FIFA 14’s Ultimate Team mode.
Following on from last week’s Team of the Week — which featured Chelsea’s Cesc Fàbregas as the highest rated player at 89 — Manchester City’s Stevan Jovetić takes the top spot this week with an 85-rated striker card, which the 24-year-old earned after he scored two goals against Liverpool in a 3-1 home win on Monday.
Other footballers from the Barclays Premier League join Jovetić this week, including Tottenham Hotspur’s Érik Lamela (rated at 82) and Chelsea’s Branislav Ivanović (rated at 81), with both players putting in a solid performance for their clubs during last weekend’s fixtures.

La Liga is officially underway with current champions Atlético Madrid starting off the defence of their title with a disappointing draw against Rayo Vallecano, but this week’s Team of the Week features Barcelona’s well-known left-back Jordi Alba following a successful victory against Elche under the Catalans’ new manager, Luis Enrique.
Former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry is the standout face from this week’s team — mainly for the reputation he had built as a clinical finisher during his time with the Gunners, of course — with the 37-year-old footballing legend receiving an 81-rated card for the New York Red Bulls.
With FIFA 15 confirmed for release in late September, EA has revealed a range of different footballers who will be joining Lionel Messi on the front cover for a specific region or country, which includes Michal Kadlec (Czech Republic), Eden Hazard (UK, France, Netherlands and Belgium), Clint Dempsey (United States and Canada), Gonzalo Higuaín (Italy), Tim Cahill (Australia and New Zealand), David Alaba (Austria), Robert Lewandowski (Poland) and Xherdan Shaqiri (Switzerland).
FIFA 15 will be released on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation 4, Nintendo 3DS, Wii and PC.
