The Sony Xperia C has 1024 MB RAM and the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini has a greater memory with 1524 MB RAM which means it is superior to the Sony Xperia C in this aspect at least, as well as weighing less and being able to be transported better.
The Sony Xperia C has a talk time of 10 hours which is a decent period of time and the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini has 12 hours of talk time, although it has an inferior battery life than the Sony Xperia C.
Essentially, both phones are close in ability but the Samsung Galaxy S4 has the edge because it weighs less and has better memory capacity.
