Earlier today the official PS Vita release dates for the murder mystery title Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc were announced. The successor of the 2010 PSP title Danganronpa will feature new graphics, touchscreen capabilities and a new game mode.
Those of you who are unfamiliar with the title, Danganronpa is a Japanese visual murder mystery novel. According to its publisher NIS America, the game is mixing investigatory elements from Phoenix Wright and features amazing storytelling, much like Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward.
The latest addition in the franchise, Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc tells the story of Makoto Naegi, who attends Hope’s Peak Academy, also known as “the most elite high school in the country.” However, the psychotic black and white bear headmaster Monokuma has a break down and locks all the students inside the school. The only way to escape is to murder and get away with it. However, those who try and get caught by other students are sentenced to “a poetic death at Monokuma’s hands.”
The official launch date for Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc is February 11 for North America and February 14 for Europe.
