Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD is coming to the PC

by GH Staff

Aren’t tired of zombies yet? Good, because Capcom announced that a new visually remastered Resident Evil 4 will be coming to PC’s sometime in February. Resident Evil 4 was first released on the Playstation 2 back in 2005, and a PC version was released in 2007. According to Capcom, this will be an updating of the classic game for more modern gaming capabilities. Capcom promises a stable 60 fps count (assuming you meet the hardware requirements) as well as sharper textures and crisper text.

The core features of the game will not be altered, the new version only focusing on improving visuals. And that’s not necessarily a bad thing, since Resident Evil 4 was a great game and it would be a shame to ruin a classic. The game will feature keyboard and mouse support, as well as controller support, and will have localized subtitles in French, Italian and Japanese.
