There has been a release for a new addition for Saints Row IV that allows players to create their weapons and play with them in Saints Row IV. The above picture is the dub step gun, but there are so many different possibilities to what guns you can make.
Volition artists provided user Donhonk with all the weapons of Saints Row 3/4 in a specific file format for malleability. Unfortunately, making completely brand new parts is unsupported at the moment, considering how much time and effort it would take to accomplish that kind of power. But, you can take other parts of guns and add them to new ones! Feel like putting a ridiculously large scope on a pistol? You can do that!
On top of that, Volition gave us a preview of what’s to come with weapon modification. On the right is the Damned Impaler, the crossbow scoped weapon that will be appearing in the new DLC for Saints Row IV, Gat out of Hell. In the game, it’ll only act as a skin and won’t perform any functions until the DLC is released, but we can speculate what the weapon could potentially be. From looking at it, I’m thinking it might have a flamethrower attachment as well as the crossbow. So a flaming crossbow. It’s got a scope too, so you might be able to scope down unsuspecting victims.
