Xbox 360 Holiday Lineup Features Lower Prices And New Bundles
As the gaming industry gradually makes its way deeper in the age of next-gen consoles, Microsoft introduces a whole new Holiday lineup for the Xbox 360.
The Holiday lineup for the Xbox 360 comes complete with lower prices, new bundles, a hard drive upgrade and believe it or not, a new special edition of the Xbox 360.
Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m in no way a hater of Xbox, I still to this day boot up my Xbox 360 to play Gears of War and Left 4 Dead, but, moving into the Holiday season when next-gen consoles are become ever so present it seems almost odd to be releasing new special editions of the console and hard drive upgrades.
According to the post on Xbox Wire, the new Holiday lineup will be available starting next week. Mike Nichols, CVP of Marketing for Xbox states;
Coming into its ninth holiday shopping season, Xbox 360 continues to deliver amazing games and entertainment experiences to consumers. These new bundles for holiday shoppers, new lower price points and new special edition blue console are sure to delight gamers young and old this holiday
So What Are These New Bundles?
The 500GB Holiday Value Bundle
As the title states, this Xbox 360 comes with a 500 GB hard drive and includes both Call of Duty: Ghosts and Call of Duty: Black Ops II. Along with those, you will also receive a one month of Xbox Gold access. All this can be yours for $249.
Xbox 360 Special Edition Blue Bundle
This special edition Xbox 360 comes complete with nice blue wash, and will only be available for purchase at Walmarts in the U.S. This bundle comes equipped with the same features of the 500GB Holiday Value Bundle and will be available for purchase at Walmart starting October 7.
Xbox 360 4GB Kinect Bundle
What’s more fun than playing a game where the controller is your body? This 4GB Kinect bundle features three games; Kinect Adventures, Kinect Sports and Forza Horizon. Priced at the same price point as the previous two bundles, this will only be available for purchase at Targets in the U.S. I feel like it should be red?
If by any chance you don’t reside in the U.S, fear not, many of these consoles will be shipping outside of the U.S, check with your local retailer for pricing and availability.
