A new trailer for BioShock Infinite: Burial at Sea Episode 2 has emerged, and it shows some returning characters. ***WARNING*** – spoilers ahead. Based on the latest trailer, BioShock Infinite’s upcoming DLC will see the return of key BioShock 1 player, Atlas. That’s right, the baddie Frank Fontaine will be back, and will be a crucial part of the DLC’s story-line. Booker DeWitt is also making a return, after being previously dead…sort-of. Considering that Elizabeth eliminated DeWitt at the end of Burial at Sea – Episode 1, it will be interesting to see how the story unfolds.
Players will take control of Elizabeth in the upcoming DLC. Episode 2 will also be the final part in the BioShock Infinite story arch. The Season Pass version of the game is set for a March 31st release date, but Burial at Sea Episode 2 might emerge sooner than that (hopefully).
BioShock Infinite has won numerous awards in 2013, and its critical reception was astonishingly good. IGN rated it 9.5, while Eurogamer rated the game a 10/10. One of the high-points of the game is obviously the story-line, and BioShock Infinite took home some of the most prestigious awards for artwork and story, and even some Game of the Year awards. Given this context, we’re sure Burial at Sea Episode 2 will be a worthy continuation of the quality story, and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
