Having TF2 invade your game is one way to celebrate the release of Battle Nations on Steam
Short, scrawny, little boy sums up Scout pretty well.To celebrate its world-wide release on Steam, Battle Nations has teams up with Team Fortress 2 to provide players with 12 unique missions, and the chance to recruit some of the series iconic characters.
As of Battle Nation Patch 4.1 players will be able to take part in missions to help the BLU team finally defeat their rivals, the RED team. While helping the BLU team exact on their revenge, you’ll also have to hunt down a mysterious and powerful object hidden in the Battle Nation world.
Since your working with the BLU teams, its only fair that some of the members will join you. In the first update you’ll be able to recruit the Heavy (and Sasha naturally), Scout, Solider, Pyro and Demoman while the other characters may be added in a later update.
Battle Nation is a free-to-play game that started life on the iOS. Featuring a memorable cast of characters and a hilarious story, the game features tactical turn based combat whether your fighting other players in pvp or in single player through the games 500+ missions.
You can build up your army with over 200 unique units, each of which you can level up and they’ll be needed if your going to stop the rebel threat and other players. Battle Nations also has a Guilds system so you can forge alliances with other players to compete for powerful prizes, and the game will support monthly events and constant new content.
While Battle Nations is a free-to-play game, some items can only be purchases with real-world money. However don’t worry if you don’t want to pay real-world money because the Steam page confirms that you can disable in-game purchases.
Battle Nations is a free to play game, now available on Steam and you can try it for yourself here.
