It has been revealed today that Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom will be making its way to the PS Vita this coming November, specifically on the 18th. This comes as a not-too-obvious announcement on the US PlayStation blog regarding the PlayStation TV, in which the VP of Platforms Marketing at SCEA, John Koller, said:
“I’m pleased to announce that Adventure Time: The Secret of the Nameless Kingdom from Little Orbit will also be available in November for PS TV (as well as PS Vita).”
Perhaps Sony thought this wasn’t worth a separate blog post, but either way Adventure Time looks to be heading to another handheld, not just the 3DS. It will also release for Windows, PS3, and Xbox 360.
Marking the third game based on the popular animated television show; Adventure Time, you will be tasked with solving puzzles and taking on various enemies in order to save the princesses in the Nameless Kingdom, who have suddenly gone missing. The game will be played from a top-down perspective, and looks to play a lot like The Legend of Zelda – judge for yourself with the gameplay video below. Playable characters include Finn, Jake, and the Ice King.
