Released in early September, Koei Tecmo Games and Omega Force launched Warriors Orochi 3: Ultimate; since its debut, this latest project has received positive criticism from both fans and hardcore critics in North America and Europe. With the new gameplay mechanics introduced (such as the strategic card effects in dual mode and the special musou attacks), the developers have delivered many interesting components to the action and narrative situations. Now, the creators are offering more downloadable content for these players.

On September 23, 2014, the developers have released the Volume 2 pack for downloadable content for Warriors Orochi 3: Ultimate in North American and Europe. Unlike the previous pack that focused on weapons and music, this entry contains stages, costumes, and disguises, but each pack has a different price. Starting with the first stage pack, the new stages will be available for selection under Select Battlefield. In-game music and additional weapons are also included. The whole package contains these additional stages:

  • In Vino Veritas (Weapon available: Bug Catcher)
  • Phantoms of Nanzhong (Weapon available: Knockout Blow)
  • Ninjas United (Weapon available: Epiphany)
  • Warriors of Purity (Weapon available: Lollipop)

Prospective buyers can receive this bundle for $1.99 and  €1.99. Besides the first stage pack, they also include four more packs for a higher price. Interested spectators can look at the NA version page or EU verison page for more details. As these folks scroll further down the page, they will find the Dynasty Trad Costumes for 39 characters for the price of  $2.99 or €2.99. Below this section, interested spectators will find three Samurai Disguise Packs, which allow certain characters to look like other individuals. Expect more entries to arrive over time as Japan had nine volumes or more.
