Announced on September 25, Sumthing Else Music Works in partnership with Disney Interactive and Harmonix have announced their new plans to release the Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved Original Soundtrack from the game releasing for XBox One on October 21, 2014. Since the huge announcement on June 4, 2013, this Kinect title aims to attract the Disney fanatics who has the passion for listening to music and dancing in front of a screen. While this workout is quite handy, here’s a video demonstration for “The Hollow” from the game.
Nile Rodgers’ Sumthing Else Music Works will release a score album for the new video game based from Disney’s 1940 film Fantasia; this beautiful but imaginative movie focused more on melodies than the creative narratives like Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Sleeping Beauty, Bambi, Lady and the Tramp, etc. Going back to the subject, Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved Original Soundtrack will include new performances of classical songs recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra, Academy of St. Martin in the Fields and Chamber Orchestra of London. Like the Kinect video game, this fantastic album will be released on October 21.
The album includes the game’s themes scored by Inon Zur and the music team at Harmonix. A “Director’s Cut” soundtrack will feature remixes of the original songs and original score B-sides. It will be released digitally at Sumthing.com. Here’s the track list:
