Ever since Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End‘s breathtaking E3 trailer reveal, there has not been much in terms of news or reveals for the next highly anticipated, PlayStation 4 exclusive installment into Naughty Dog’s Uncharted franchise.
Fortunately, Kurt Margenau, Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End lead game designer, has posted a new image, albeit a blurry, low-quality one, showcasing Nathan Drake in all his current-gen, PlayStation 4-rendered goodness.
See the image in question and read more details after the break.

While Kurt Margenau’s image itself is not the best in terms of quality, thanks to it likely being taken off a television screen by a cellphone at Naughty Dog’s 30-year anniversary celebration, the picture gives Uncharted fans eagerly waiting some new Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End information a closer look at how Nathan Drake will look like on the PlayStation 4.
It is not known whether or not the image above was taken during Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End gameplay or a pre-rendered cutscene seeing as Margenau gives a very vague headline in regards to his tweet.
For the sake of comparison, you can view an image detailing Nathan Drake’s evolution from Naughty Dog’s original Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune to the upcoming Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End below:
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is expected to release sometime next year, and will be, as all previous Uncharted games, a Sony PlayStation (4) exclusive.
What are your thoughts on the new image of Nathan Drake (aside from its atrocious quality)? Does the character resemble a real-life celebrity? If so, who? Also, are you looking forward to playing Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End when it releases sometime next year?
