Crytek posted a reminder on October 4, 2026 for its Hunt: Showdown 1896 Player Survey 2026 in a Steam community announcement. The studio describes the survey as its annual player survey and says it is now live. Crytek is gathering player feedback on the game, its future, and what matters most to the community. When the survey launched, Crytek said it would close in one week.
What the Player Survey 2026 asks
The original survey announcement was posted on September 30, 2026. It opened with the line “Every Hunt leaves a mark. Now it’s your turn to leave one on the future of the bayou and the gulch.” In the same post, Crytek wrote “As part of our ongoing commitment to shaping the world of Hunt alongside our community, we’re looking for your feedback on the game, its future, and what matters most to you.”
The same post added “The survey closes in 1 week, so don’t miss your chance to be heard.” The survey is hosted on SurveyMonkey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/JTL5ZVS, and Crytek linked it from both posts.
The October 4 reminder
Crytek titled the post “Player Survey 2026 | Reminder | Hunt: Showdown 1896”. The reminder asks “Have you filled out our latest Player Survey yet? Please consider sharing your opinions to help us tailor your experience. The feedback from Hunters means the world to us!” Crytek uses the term Hunters to refer to players in both posts.
