According to images posted on both Reddit‘s gaming subreddit and imgur.com by user 75000_Tokkul, the “exclusive” ship that was included with various special editions (Limited and Ghost Edition) of Bungie’s Destiny is identical to ships found in-game through normal play.
The only difference between the two ships being a name and description change.

As seen in the images taken from the PlayStation 4 version of Destiny above, it is apparent that the only differences between the “exclusive” ship that was included with the Limited and Ghost Edition of Destiny and ships that are obtainable through normal gameplay is a change of the ship’s name and a different description.
An odd observation indeed.
Bungie did not even bother to switch out/change the color palette of the “exclusive” ship seeing that both the “Valkyrie-O5X” (the exclusive jumpship) and the “Aurora Lance” (a rare jumpship that players can, as previously mentioned, attain through normal means of play) look exactly the same, alongside sharing the exact same color scheme – black and yellow.
In related Destiny news, images have surfaced showcasing a number of images of an area/environment presumed to be part of incoming DLC. The area in question will most likely be used for a raid akin to the “Vault of Glass.”
