Publisher Konami has revealed that Hideo Kojima’s highly anticipated open-world stealth title, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, and this year’s eagerly awaited football instalment, Pro Evolution Soccer 2015, are confirmed games for IgroMir in Moscow, Russia.
Running from October 2nd to October 5th, IgroMir is Russia’s annual gaming convention since 2006, with more than 150,000 people expected to be at the event this year.
Konami has stated that further details regarding the Metal Gear Solid franchise will be announced during the event, while a military-themed cinema area will have Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain showcasing ‘updated content and a new location.’
PES 2015, winner of the ‘Best Sports Game’ accolade at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, is set to demonstrate the improvements made to this year’s football title, as Konami has said people will see how “Every pass, shot or run is finely balanced to give maximum player satisfaction within PES 2015’s on-field action.”
Last month, Konami confirmed they will be attending Play Expo in Manchester, England with PES 2015, which included the announcement of a PES League University Championship for UK universities. Further details can be found here.
Running on Kojima Productions’ Fox Engine, PES 2015 is scheduled for release worldwide on November 13th for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC
With the news that Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid franchise has sold more than 39 million titles worldwide last month, his next instalment in the renowned franchise, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, is confirmed for release in 2015 on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
