Warhorse Studios, the developer behind the successfully Kickstarted medieval role-playing game, Kingdom Come: Deliverance, has recently released an in-depth, 14-minute-long video update detailing a wide swath of content ranging from the game’s new combat mechanics to their motion-capture process. The video also contains a teaser trailer for the game.
Arguably the most important detail covered in the video is the game’s alpha release date. The Kingdom Come: Deliverance alpha is slated to release on October 22nd through Steam Early Access, according to Warhorse Studios’ co-founder, Daniel Vavra.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance Video Update
For those who are unfamiliar with Warhorse Studios’ Kingdom Come: Deliverance, it is a medieval role-playing game set in Central Europe during the 15th century.
The game emphasizes historically accurate and realistic content. Kingdom Come: Deliverance will be a single-player game, complete with branching questlines. Warhorse Studios has stated that the game will feature a highly interactive world with a focus on emergent gameplay. The game is said to feature historically accurate armor and clothing, realistic combat techniques, as well as real-world castles recreated with the help of architects and history experts.
Soundtrack aficionados are sure to appreciate the game’s music, as it will contain period music performed and recorded by Czech masters that were transposed note for note from actual medieval song books.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is scheduled for full retail release sometime in late 2015. The game will be available on Microsoft Windows, OS X, and Linux. Additionally, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions have been confirmed, albeit releasing at a later date.
