The ultimate driving experience Forza Horizon 2 has just released its first DLC today. This DLC is called the Mobil 1 car pack.
The Mobil 1 Car Pack can be bought on its own for $5 or you can buy the Forza Horizon 2 Car Pass for $25 to get all of the upcoming car packs as soon as they’re released. This means there are probably going to be five total car packs for you to dig your hands into.
In a car pack, you will receive five cars. However, for today’s first DLC promotion, you’ll receive a sixth extra car for no extra cost. Here are a list of the cars:
- 2015 Jaguar F-Type R Coupe
- 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT
- 2013 Renault Clio RS 200
- 1988 Volkswagen Scirocco 16v
- 1957 Maserati 300 S
- 1988 BMW M5
These cars were then displayed in the Forza Horizon 2 Mobil 1 Car pack DLC trailer. Here’s a look right down below.

The jaguar looks cool and the old Maserati is perfect. However, I’m thinking these starter DLC packs are for those who really want to have a specific car in their collection. This is just a taste of what’s to come as far as cars being added into the game. My take on it is that we’ve received DLC after a week into the game, not giving us enough time to really enjoy the longevity. Starting off with DLC like this makes me think they’re going after our money and not the gameplay content. I’m hoping for some more kick ass cars in the future, as this is a little bit pitiful. Again, that’s just someone who doesn’t want to be spending all his money on DLC.
