A year after the app’s release, it was offered to a number of Android devices and then came Snapkidz in June 2013 for users who are younger than 13 years old. The Snapkidz application allowed taking and drawing on snaps but no option to send images to friends for the younger users.

Kik Messenger
This new instant messaging is gaining on its rival Snapchat and now has millions of subscribers worldwide, known for its quickness and ease of use. Many users love the Kik Messenger specifically because it has a user-friendly interface and no bells and whistles that allow them to focus on their conversations, nothing else. This by the way was designed by a number of students of the University of Waterloo and was initially introduced in October 2010. Just two weeks after it was released the app already hit is 1st one million subscribers, thanks to Twitter that helped grow its popularity.
Just this year, Kik Messenger already has 120 million subscribers who were and still are very happy with the app’s easy to use interface. This is already available for use on Android, WP and iOS devices using WIFI or data plan of the smartphone to send and receive messages.
If you need to choose which is the better deal between the rivals Snapchat and Kik Messenger, it’s likely that you would have a good time using the second app since is very easy to use but if privacy is your number one priority, you might consider Kik Messenger as your go to messenger application.
