Heads up, Miners- Minecraft is finally coming to Microsoft’s Windows SmartPhone. And it only cost 2.5 Billion Dollars to do make it happen, almost 6 years after the game’s initial release.
And I thought the Vita was late to the party. Hell, at least I remembered the Vita EXISTED; I’ve heard less in the past few months about Windows phones than I have about the Fire Phone.
Yeah, that exists too. Crazy world, huh?
So Microsoft quite predictably decided they were going to port Minecraft onto their bastardized Androids after shelling out more than most African Countries’ GDP for the game rights. I mean, holy freaking crap, 2,5 million dollars?Do you know how much that is? For a game that could have run on the Dreamcast with no problems whatsoever? I’m not trying to bag on Minecraft- it’s a great game- but DAMN son that’s more than 5 times the price of Destiny!
Ah, whatever, Sony’s still kicking their ass.
Minecraft: Pocket Edition on the Windows phone has no official release date that I’m aware of. Stay frosty, readers, and keep your eyes glued to gamerheadlines.com, your one-stop site for tech buzz, gaming news, and reviews for the releases that matter to YOU.
