Borderlands The Pre-Sequel is going to be arriving tomorrow for those lucky Borderlands fans, but while we wait for the midnight release, we’ll have a launch trailer we get to take a peek at.
Borderlands the Pre-Sequel follows four henchmen of Handsome Jack, Athena, Wilhelm, Nisha, and Claptrap as they attempt to escape exile on Elpis, the moon of Pandora. Handsome Jack begins with “morally good intentions” so he’s not quite as evil. However, slowly throughout Borderlands The Pre-Sequel, you’ll get to see his progression into the Handsome Jack we’ve seen as the antagonist inĀ Borderlands 2.

We start the opening with Handsome Jack and his plans to “make things better around [Borderlands]”. Claptrap the Fragtrap then comes in and makes some humorous remarks about how he’s going to help. Yeah you are Claptrap. Then “The Final Countdown” plays and we’re back into action, showing off gun reloading, weapons, and of course the other 3 playable characters in action. 4 Player Co-op is shown off as well as the many ice puns that will be in the game on the moon/from ice bringing weapons.
Borderlands the Pre-Sequel Launch Trailer definitely has some flair to it, sporting it’s 80’s action movie style as well as its comedic approach. I’m personally excited to see the zero gravity being implemented into the game, as well as Claptrap’s many jokes and puns. Which sounds silly, but I really do enjoy puns.
Borderlands the Pre-Sequel comes out tomorrow, October 14th for North America, October 16th for Australia and Europe on October 17th. For those in North America, we’ll see how the game turned out tonight!
