Developer Team2Bit has announced in a press release that their co-op Cold War stealth title Reagan Gorbachev will be an Ouya exclusive and is scheduled for release on October 21st, 2014.
You must feel a little bit bemused after reading that first sentence, so here’s some clarity behind the story of Reagan Gorbachev: set in a universe where Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev are kidnapped during one of their many infamous Cold War summits held in the 1980s, Reykjavik Summit, both the former US President and former General Secretary of the Soviet Union team up to battle against their unknown assailants.
With that being said, the trailer (posted below) contains a montage of raw footage from some of Ronald Reagan and Mikhail Gorbachev’s famous moments during the Cold War and combines them with gameplay from the title. Users have the ability to opt for a stealth approach in the title or take an extremely effective option of all guns blazing.
Armed with katanas, assault rifles, poison darts and pistols, players can invite a friend to join them on co-op, with these two Cold War political titans battling their way out of a military base.
Reagan Gorbachev will be priced at $9.99 when the title’s released this October.
