Apple’s iOS 8.1 user guide was inadvertently updated with information about two of the company’s yet to be announced products, the iPad Mini 3 and iPad Air 2. The leak was reported by 9to5Mac, and the image below is captured from the guide, which even shows off some of the features of the new products:
The image shows that both new iPads feature the Touch ID sensor that is also found in recent iPhone models. Burst camera shots on the iPad Air 2 is also supported. It is likely that these devices have a stronger computing power than their predecessors, but that remains currently unknown.
The leak comes only a day before Apple is scheduled to host an event at their headquarters in Cupertino where they are expected to officially announce these new products, as well as the new line of Macbooks.
