Design
Google Nexus is a light-weight device at 184 grams featuring a body with thickness of 10mm. But the iPhone 6 Plus is much more lighter at 172 grams and thickness of 7.1mm.
As far as display screen is concerned, Nexus 6 features a big screen of 5.9 inches with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and density at 493ppi. Hardware
Google’s Nexus 6 runs on Snapdragon 805 processor chipset at a clocking speed of 2.7GHz. It is also backed by the Adreno 420 GPU in combination with the 3GB RAM that enables comfort while navigating devices. The smartphone is expected to release in two big RAM sizes- 32GB and 64GB. The bad part is that this smartphone does not support microSD cards.
On the contrary, the iPhone 6 Plus possesses a higher-level configuration as it runs on 64-bit processor while Nexus 6 runs on 32-bit. 6 Plus contains A8X processor chipset at a clocking speed of 1.4GHz. There’s more to its processor as the A8X is integrated with PowerVR GX6650 graphics as well as 1GB RAM to deliver flawless functioning. Though the support for microSD cards is missing in iPhone 6 Plus too, it has more variety in storage as it comes in 16GB, 64GB and 128 GB.
Battery and Camera
The camera description of Nexus 6 says that it has a 13MP rear camera and f2.0 lens with another additional feature called optical image stabilization.
When talking about the iPhone 6 Plus, its rear camera offers 8 megapixels while the front facing camera uses 1.2 megapixels. Videos can be shot with HD quality at 30 fps.Some features found in both Nexus 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are OIS and dual LED flash.
In the software department, there is a good competition as both the handsets have incorporated their newest version of operating system. While it is Google’s Android Lollipop that resides in Nexus 6 the iPhone 6 Plus is nowhere behind with its iOS 8 technology.
In terms of battery, Nexus 6’s battery power is at 3220 mAh offering approximately 24 hours of battery life while iPhone 6 Plus is drastically poor in battery power at 2915 mAh which means only about 10 hours battery life.
