When Will The iOS 8 Jailbreak Arrive For iPhone And iPad

by GH Staff

Rumored to arrive in late October, the latest iOS 8.1 will mean likely that either the pangu or evad3rs will soon release their iOS 8 Jailbreak for users.

For the public, this means that the two group of developers, any of the versions of the jailbreak for the iPhone and iPad will not be released soon.

The team from China behind pangu has indicated that they are working currently on the iOS 8. However a reddit user, grappleone, has informed that it will take much longer than a few weeks or month to crack the iOS 8 software. Pointed out by the reddit user, the iOS 8 jailbreak won’t be soon available for two reasons.

Problems With Stability

Grappleone pointed out that for the developers it is useless to work on a jailbreak for the new iOS 8 because the OS has currently many issues with stability. The iOS 8 at the moment is full of bugs and glitches, which means that the jailbreak will be useless. He also believes that the developers are trying to wait for a more stable version of the iOS 8 before going ahead with a jailbreak version.

Taking this in, evad3rs and pangu groups, will likely wait for the release of the iOS 8.1 that will sure to have a newer version to fix the glitches and bug. Then they will provide a jailbreak version that will work for the devices.

Problems With Capability

The iOS 8 has many problems with their applications not being compatible. The reddit user once again pointed out that it will take a while for the applications to work properly. So why would any group try to work on a jailbreak version, if the OS is not yet compatible with the majority of the applications!

He also pointed out that the groups are more than likely being patient and realistic with letting Apple first fix their iOS 8, and once they release an updated version will begin to work on a jailbreak version.

December 2014 is the rumored date the jailbreak version for iOS 8 will be available. However, we will look forward to seeing which group can provide the best and first jailbreak for the iPad and iPhone.
