Xbox One November Update Revealed!

by GH Staff

Today, Xbox Live’s Major Nelson (Larry Hryb) posted the details of the Xbox One November Update! And this update is all about personalization!

That’s right, Custom Backgrounds are in! For now, you are limited to just picking from your profile color or an achievement image. But, later in the update you will be able to use custom images from an external USB drive.

There is also an update to Gamer Profiles, as you can again add in your location and bio. You can also have a showcase of your favorite clips available to watch on any Xbox One or Xbox Smart Glass device.

And, there is now twitter integration! This feature allows you to share your game clips through twitter.

On top of those features, there is also a new set of One Guide and TV features, such as a new “What’s On” tab, which shows both twitch broadcasts and live TV shows, live tweets in the TV mini guide, and a new Trending tab. There are also a host of improvements to Xbox One Smartglass, as well as an improved Xbox Store on consoles, making content easier to find.

A video walkthrough of this update can be watched below.
