The mobile addition to the Hitman franchise, the critically acclaimed Hitman GO, has received a generous update inspired by the by one of the missions in Hitman 2: Silent Assassin: “St. Petersburg Stakeout”.

The update itself comes with eight brand new levels based on the sequel to the original Hitman, which brings Hitman GO’s level roster up to 91. These new missions are boasted to invoke nostalgic memories among those who played Hitman 2: Silent Assassin back in the day.

According to a recently release press release, the eight missions can be obtained in two ways: either by completing a number of mission-based objectives, or by purchasing the missions as part a one-purchase update for $0.99 / €0.99 / £0.69 via the App Store or Google Play (depending on whether or not you have the game for iOS or Andorid).

What’s more is that the St. Petersburg Stakeout update will also bring with it the option to aviate Hitman GO’s cloud-saving functionality, which is said to make it possible for you to sync completed levels on different versions of the game between different compatible devices.

To celebrate the lunch of the update, Hitman GO has been given a temporary price reduction on both iOS and Android. The game will now be available for $1.99 / €1.79 / £1.49 for a limited time only.
