Newly released Civilization: Beyond Earth now has a demo you can download, so you can try before you buy. The demo will set you back 5GB of space and it is available right now on Steam. The demo will give you 100 turns before you win via a time victory.
Civilization: Beyond Earth is the newest game in the incredibly popular 4x strategy series created by Sid Meier. Civilization: Beyond Earth is different from its counterparts because you no longer control a civilization. In this game, you begin by choosing a planet, then choosing your ‘sponsor’. The game has a sci-fi setting, which is a new direction for the Civilization series. Once into the game, Civilization veterans will be right at home, as the game features the familiar hexagonal-based grid system used in the Civilization games.
