FIFA 15 Spends 5 Weeks at the Top of UK Sales Charts

by GH Staff

FIFA 15’s success isn’t exactly a kick to the head.

EA, while being voted the worst company in America twice (though not this year) during the Consumerist’s infamous competition, seems to still have mainstream gaming by the nards. More people shell out for Madden, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, the Sims 4, and yes, FIFA 15, than EA knows what to do with.

Thanks to FIFA 15’s 5-week contribution, EA has now held the top of the UK charts for 18 weeks (or 35% of) this year. Frankly, I can’t remember the last time a company with such a bad reputation was able to make so much money.

Halfway through that sentence I realized I’m posting this via Time Warner Cable. Apparently having a horrible customer track record DOES sell.
