A brand new trailer has been released by Ubisoft showing off the multiplayer for Far Cry 4. Entitled ‘Battles of Kyrat’, it will feature two distinct factions. The Golden Path and the Rhakshasa. Each faction has a set of unique skills and abilities. The Golden Path focus on guns and explosives, a wide array will be available to you, including Assault Rifles and Shotguns. The Rhakshasa are ‘Mythical Warriors’ who can call upon nature for help. This includes the aid of different kinds of animals and the ability to be stealthy in foliage. The Rhakshasa use traditional weapons such as Bows and can use a range of different types of arrows.
Three game modes have been announced for Multiplayer; Outpost, Propaganda and Demon Mask.
- Outpost sees the Golden Path defend their outposts from the Rhakshasan assault.
- Propaganda has The Golden Path attempting to destroy Rhakshasan Propaganda that spreads the corruptive word of Pagan Min.
- Demon Mask is a nice spin on Capture the Flag. Players fight for control of a mythological demon mask and must return it to their base.
Each game will be five vs five and can last up to twenty minutes at a time. At the launch of Far Cry 4, there will be ten maps, and three game modes. You can expect a new game mode called ‘Overrun’ in the form of DLC after the release of Far Cry 4. You can check out the brand new multiplayer trailer for Far Cry 4 below.

Far Cry 4 will be releasing on November 18th in the US, and November 20th in Europe and Australia. It will be releasing on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PC.
