25th Treehouse of Horror Special – Another Fascinating Breakthrough for The Simpsons

One of the most popular American running sitcom that still catches the hearts of everybody is now airing its 25th annual series, ‘Treehouse of Horror’ special. The Simpsons has now reached another fulfilling milestone in the world of entertainment. The Simpsons has kept the traditional way of how they featured their annual Halloween themed episodes since the year 1990. This features three short segments that will make the show do a parody of some of the popular film specializing in the world of horror, thriller, suspense and supernatural. This includes popular films like, A Nightmare on Elm Street, I Know What You Did Last Summer, The Shining, The Twilight Zone and a lot more.

This current year’s special allows the show to do the parodies of “The Others” and “A Clockwork Orange”. The first segment on the special episode features “School is Hell”, where Bert and Lisa were transformed into an evil from Hell, and see how Bart will be able to handle situations in his funny and crazy ways. The second segment titled “ A Clockwork Yellow” , was inspired to show the original film” A Clockwork Orange “style gang  featuring a disband gang as Domer (Homer) fell in love with Marge, who wants Domer to end up his life as a gangster. The last segment, “The Others”, features the Simpson Family haunted and followed by their past embodiment from “The Tracy Ullman Show” which inspires the series.

It includes the short view at the donut eating machine from “TreeHouse of Horror XIII”, which was parodied on its 5th season and the unique Lego styled family from the past season’s segment “Brick Like Me”. The “Treehouse of Horror” has received generally positive feedback from its critics. It may not be the best segment out of its Halloween episodes, it was still said to be in the most effective seasons.

Despite its previous successful seasons, it is still not confirmed for their 27th season to be released in the press early. It would still depend on how much longer this show will be able to manage earning rewards and merits.

The Simpson’s next episode, “Opposites a Frack” is said to be scheduled to be aired on November 2 and will then follow a two week rest.
