Coming off the success of the release of the Galaxy Note 4 and the Galaxy S5, the long awaited line of Galaxy A Series, is rumored to be announced in early November, for Galaxy A3, A5, and A7.
Samsung is supposed to release the series in China in November, according to reports from The Korea Time. This is supposed to recover the ground lost from the Xiaomi manufacturers that have boomed in the local economy.
Canalys also reports that Samsung has lost their lock on the local market, which has been taken over by Xiaomi. Also working on gaining a bigger share in the market is Lenovo that is set to release a line of devices to compete with the still fresh Xiaomi Company.
Xiaomi has quickly gained in their three years of existence the third largest smartphone vendor in the 2014, in which the Apple and Samsung have dominated respectively.
Going back to Samsung, the Galaxy X series is set to be fitted with metal chamfered edges. It will directly compete with Xiaomi Mi 4, which is will be available for around $350 to $500.
If early leaks are to believe, the Galaxy A7, which will come with LTE support, will cost you around $450 to $500 and will only be available in a few countries. However, you will be able to get the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 will be available in more countries. The Galaxy A3 will be available for $350 to $400 while the A5 is rumored to cost a hundred more.
Samsung Galaxy A7 is rumored to feature the octa-core Snapdragon 615 CPU coupled with the Adreno 405 GUP. It will consist of 2GB of RAM, and have internal memory capacity of 16GB. It will also feature a rear-facing 12MP camera and a 2MP front-facing camera.
The Galaxy A5 will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and with having an internal memory capacity of 16GB. It will feature a rear-facing 13MP camera and a front facing 5MP camera.
The Galaxy A3 will be powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor and have internal memory capacity of 8GB. It will feature a 4.7MP front-facing camera and a rear-facing 7MP shooter.
