For starters players looking for a challenge will want to get ready for the City of Ash veteran dungeon which will continue the dungeons storyline. It sees you and an expedition launch an assault on the Deadlands which happens to also be the realm of the Daedra Prince Mehrune Dagon. Speaking of the dungeons Elder Scrolls Online Update 5 will also bring in Repeatable Pledges which will reward players for raid certain dungeons once every 20 hours for special loot and trophies. These pledges will be available at the undaunted enclaves and you’ll be able them starting at non-veteran level 45 or veteran level 1.

Update 5 will also introduce dungeon level scaling which will scale the dungeons enemies with the level of your parties leader, giving you more chances to group up, experience a challenge but remember that tougher enemies means better loot. There will also be single player scaling for those of you who would rather fight alone, but missions will only scale up and can go as high as veteran level 12.

Moving away from the dungeons. the Elder Scrolls Online Update 5 also means that the games NPC now have lip-synced dialogue, however at the moment this isn’t supported on Windows XP or OSX. There’s also new repeatable writs which you’ll start by obtaining certification in your crafting skills. Doing so will get you a writ which you can then complete for inspiration, materials and special survey reports which will lead you to high-yeald harvesting nodes.

Staying on crafting for a second, the new update will also introduce the ability to craft Dwemer and Twin-born star gear. In order to learn how to craft Dwemer gear your going to need to brave the Dwemer ruins that litter the land and find lost chapters detailing the process. While your in there you should also make sure to gather Dwemer scarp iron from automatons, and you’ll also need to refine it into the Dwemer frame item. The Twin-born star items meanwhile can only be constructed in Upper Craglorn and your going to have to research 9 traits in a given item first. If you use these items in at least five separate item slots, you’ll also receive two different mundus stones buffs.

The Elder Scrolls Online update 5 will also introduce chat bubbles which you’ll will be able to turn off as well as class tweaks, guild tweaks and new abilities on top of a all round improvement for werewolf players. For example werewolves now get stamina back when they connect with a heavy attack, they get a 15% stamina regeneration boost in both human and werewolf form and one of their new abilities is called Piercing Howl which causes heavy damage and stuns your enemies.

What is listed here is just a small amount of the tweaks, fixes and changes that are coming to the Elder Scrolls Online Update 5 and you can read the entire list here.
