As everyone is preparing for the Christmas Season, ‘Downtown Abbey’ took its action to start preparing the show to give the loyal audiences and viewers, a show that would reflect a Christmas Spirit, by preparing a Christmas Album that will truly be part of everyone’s Christmas Day once they heard it.
The album will be titled as Christmas at Downtown Abbey, which obviously reflects that it will feature Christmas Songs that will be performed by some Downtown Abbey’s casts. The TV show will have its album released and bring out 45 songs in this album, on the 10th of November.
The album ‘Christmas at Downtown Abbey’ will have and feature some Christmas songs, rhythms, carols, and performances that will be part of everyone’s holiday. Songs that will be part of our most awaited Season every month of December, some familiar songs that will be tweaked slightly by performers, for a stunning version. And of course songs that would only be released from the show.
The theme song of the show would even have its Christmas carol version, something that fans of the show would surely wait.
Commonly, TV series will feature their own Christmas Specials series when the month of December comes. Well, for Downtown Abbey, it looks like they would like to create a hit on another genre of entertainment, and that is through music. Some of the characters and actors in Downtown Abbey that will be featured on the album were Julian Ovenden, Jim Carter and Elizabeth McGovern.
Ovenden, who had and has released its album last 2012 for pop music, expressed its gratitude of being part of the music piece. Blake and McGovern would also be featured in a duet with one of the songs on ‘Christmas at Downtown Abbey’ album.
As part of releasing an album, of course casts were expected to perform and give their best to give its loyal viewers more than what they have expected. Charles Carson would also be expected to have his own unique version of the song ‘T’was The Night Before Christmas.
The songs on ‘Christmas at Downtown Abbey’ will also be part of the Christmas Series of the show that were always done every year. The true spirit of Christmas would be felt by its audiences by having this idea according to billboard.com.
The popular TV series, Downtown Abbey is now in its 5th season. This show could be watched on PBS in America and ITV in the UK.
