When Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy Note 3, everyone wanted to get his hands on this masterpiece. Design

This smartphone was released just over a year ago and weighs 168 grams. With a body that measures 5.95 x 3.12 x 0.33 inches, this is a more than perfect weight.

Display

Equipped with a 5.7 Super AMOLED screen, the Note 3 still ranks amongst some of the best phones in the market today. Camera

Although the Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chipset that is found in this phone is a little old, it is still as good as the latest chipsets. To utilize this chipset is a 2300 MHz, Krait 400 quad-core processor with an Adreno 330 GPU. To sum up this hardware is 3 GB of RAM. In fact, this RAM is much better than what you can get in many phones that have been released this year. In terms of the operating system, the Note 3 was initially released with android version 4.3 but Samsung went on to avail a version 4.4.4 update.

Connectivity

Note 3 is not only powerful in terms of performance but is also connectivity. It has Bluetooth version 4.0 and the capability to connect to wireless networks at both 2.4GHz and 5 GHz. NFC, MHL, DLNA and tethering are also some of its connectivity options.

Battery

With a 3200 mAh battery, this phone can offer a talk time of up to 25 hours.

Verdict

At a price of about $799.99, Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is an affordable and splendid phone. Therefore, despite the Note 4 being out, buying this phone is still a viable option and will remain to be a very long time.
