The Google’s Gmail application has been officially announced to be the proof of evidence in a case of Rick Scott, Florida Governor and Steven R. Andrews, Tallahassee based lawyer. Steven R. Andrews, the lawyer has filed a case against the Florida Governor claiming that he has used his authorization rights and power wrongly. The lawyer claims that Scott has used his access to the Governor’s private Gmail application while he was conducting a public business and thereby letting the secret to be open out for the public which means the Governor has gone beyond the laws. The governor has been accused because of using the legal account in a hospital that was headed by the governor as the guest in the past. The governor however says that the statement is false and has already found ways in which he is trying to postpone the case judgment every further and avoids to produce any supporting documents for his statement refusal.
Scott’s lawyer have requested the California judge who is dealing with this case to postpone the judgment or the hearing of Google’s statements after the completion of election which lies on November 4 of this year. Google has come in between and is responsible for releasing the governor’s Gmail account details and his two workers named Brad Piepenbink and Sarah Hansford.
However, Google has refused to release the account details unless there is a court order to do so and the Governor has requested the judgment to be on November 7. Therefore, the lawyer has sent a notice for the Governor which states that the hearing is to be on November at the venue of Santa Clara County courtroom and the Governor’s presence is a must. The lawyer also called the Governor for a videotape recording based in Tallahassee on October 28 to discuss about the case.
Recently, in the month of September, the court has ordered the Governor to stop his argument and fight saying that Scott has brought the fight out of Florida and has hired a lawyer based in California, the hometown of Google. Daniel J. Leahy, the lawyer’s attorney, announced that the lawyer has private records in favor of the case and will be released to the public finally for a wide dissemination.
Andrew guess the Governor’s next move on the case and says that if the Governor signs an affidavit that this case is a total lie and that he has not used his government mail address for public business, then this is a serious assertion should say. John Tupps, Scott’s spokesman has been accusing Andrew that he is trying to take personal revenge due to some personal reasons and is making use of the state government and the Cabinet for it which is considered to be the real offense.
The Governor’s lawyer’s claim that there is no way that Andrew will have the IP address of the system that had access to the Governor’s Gmail account which could reveal the user’s location regardless of the computer owners. However, Scott is still sticking to his statement and maintains his fight.
