Firefox Hello Reportedly Not Working Well With Miniscule Bug

by GH Staff

Mozilla Firefox has for a long time been taking bigger steps in terms of technological advancements as compared to other related companies. This has been attributed to the high number of plugins it is adding every time to the highly appreciated and used browser. The latest version released is called Firefox 34 Beta. This version had a very unique update with it. The main new feature in this update was the Firefox Hello. This is a communication service that is internet based and allows users to efficiently carry out video chats and free voice calls. The fact that Firefox Hello provided an avenue for free video calls and voice calls was the reason why it was the most highlighted feature after the update was released on 17th October 2014. This communication service provider is expected to work very well with people whose browsers comfortably supports WebRTC (Real-Time Communication).

This communication add-on is highly used and appreciated because of the fact that it does not depend on any additional software before it functions. All you need to do is update your browser to the latest Firefox 34 Beta and you will have Firefox Hello with you. You also don’t end to worry about signing in or logging in. provided your friend is online, you can chat at any given time, without even having to create a profile. This is why Firefox Hello is said to have a different approach as compared to its competitors like Hangouts and Skype.

However, there has been only one problem that has been reported about this Firefox’ new invention. Since this is just but a beta release, Firefox Hello may not work well on your first try. Several attempts have been made on other devices like Mac, Windows and Linux. These attempts have revealed that Firefox Hello still did not reveal itself. Eventually, InternetNews reported that there existed a bug that was on BugzillaMozilla. This was considered the only way that could lead the developers to a lasting solution that could make Firefox Hello accessible. Again, this is just but a beta release. A lot should be expected later on with other updates to be expected. These updates are expected to be a solution to the bugs and issues being experienced. Developers are still working on the new chat application and the testing is still on. A lot more should be expected with the next update.

In order to give user a good time to test this new chat messenger by Firefox, developers have announced that they will be releasing its updates slowly but in constant stages. For Firefox Beta users, the next update should be expected within few weeks. This will enable Firefox Hello to appear on the browser however, not everyone will be able to see this feature at the same time depending on the browser version they have. Since the experiment is still ongoing, any bug noticed should be reported to the developers so that they can solve it in the next update. This is according to the Director of Product Management, Chad Weiner.
