We have entered the age of the metal smartphone. Many manufacturers have adopted this new design because it provides a premium touch.

The role reversal of the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Alpha and the HTC One E8 is not to be ignored.

Layout

HTC switched from their premium feel that was found in the One M8, and opted for a polycarbonate version with the One E8. While many devices have tried to hide their plastic feel such as the Galaxy Note 3, this HTC smartphone is out in the open. THe quality of the phone is cheap and less put together than some phones. However, for the price, many users probably won’t mind.

On the other hand, the look and feel of the Galaxy Alpha are many betters. As it seems that Samsung has finally started to hone in on some of the user feedback. THe phone is instantly improved thanks to a metal frame that comes across the phone’s edge.

Memory

For the HTC, One M8 the internal memory is a disappointment. It does provide the expandable memory options that can get you up to 128GB, which is good.
