A new trailer on the Pokemon Youtube Channel showcases a new mission of sorts in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire called the Delta Episode. It also showcases even more of the Legendaries you can catch, further verifying the ability to truly catch ’em all in this game. The Delta Episode is explained further, and the full summary is:
Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire introduce a new story, the Delta Episode, which reveals the history of the Hoenn region and thrusts Trainers into a quest to save the world. The Mossdeep Space Center, a research facility for studying space and rocket science, discovers that a giant asteroid is hurtling toward the planet. Trainers must stop Team Magma and Team Aqua from attacking the facility. Meanwhile, a battle in space is brewing between the Sky High Pokémon Rayquaza and the DNA Pokémon Deoxys, a powerful Pokémon that can transform between four distinct Forms: Normal Form, Attack Form, Defense Form, and Speed Form. Rayquaza faces a fateful challenge that will determine the future of Hoenn.
From the sounds of things, this is not a DLC mission that you’d acquire from buying the game early. It sounds as if this is just a new part of the game, available for all players no matter when they get the game. The video also has showcased a new character named Zinnia, though her involvement in the game or the mission is currently unknown.
