The new launch the iPhone 6 has been one of the most popular releases on the market.
For long time Apple users, the iPhone 6 has come after much waiting. The new iPhone 6 comes with several new features, but within the past month of its release it has its cons.
While we exactly can’t use the word hate in describing these less than perfect features, there is some valid contention that we can look at. In the future, it is a hope that Apple does listen to the feedback to put in their newest model, or improve the iPhone 6. However, there are some features that are just downright annoying on the latest edition to the iPhone family.
Slippery Design
For those that purchased the iPhone 5 was due to a design that was unique. The material and size used in making the phone made it comfortable to hold in your hand. The iPhone 6, however, has a design that has a metal chassis instead of the glass on both the sides. While it makes it the slimmest iPhone, it is also very difficult to grip when talking on the phone.
Single Hand Use
The metal chassis that is slippery also makes it difficult to grip in one hand. When holding onto the iPhone at any angle with one hand requires too much input. When held from the bottom, right in front, or straight it is doable. But much effort goes into holding the phone on the side and in landscape mode. The iPhone 6 is one of the bigger phones on the market, so for iPhone users it takes some time getting use to larger frame.
Bugs in iOS
The iOS 8 OS recently released by Apple has been plagued with many problems. These issues while not as bad as their previous operating system, but they do bring much annoyance to iPhone users.
It consistently gets stuck in landscape mode; that hinders the experience of a smartphone. Additionally the there is a problem of the disappearing keyboard and the issues of the Wi-Fi and iMessage features.
So for those looking to switch to the latest OS, keep these things in mind. While it does face several bugs, it is a solid OS.
Durability
The metal design of the Apple body is amazing. Apart from being nice to hold, it is also nice to look at. However, it could stand to be upgraded in the durability department. The phone while supposed to be shatterproof if fell from a short height will break. While it should be built like an armored truck, it should last for a drop or two, or some scratches.
The iPhone 6 In Your Pocket
The iPhone 6’s larger display also makes it harder to fit in your pocket; The slipping of the phone to the floor is a likelihood. For those that wanted the experience of the iPhone 6, make sure to have pants with deep pockets and skinny jeans.
