Comparing The Best Tablet Samsung Galaxy Note 3 VS Nexus 7

The war between Samsung and Galaxy is another spotlight on the competitive smartphone market.

In the market, Samsung has garnered the most recognition in the smartphone arena. The Korean company has provided a range of smartphones that have catered to the needs and the requirements of the market. Samsung is the top Korean manufacturer for smartphones that were quick to hope on the desires and demands and provided them accordingly to customers.

The company, however, doesn’t have the same command of the market in the tablet segment. With the release of the Note series, it has provided a lucrative venture for Samsung. Samsung has made a name for themselves in not only the smartphone market, but also the tablet market.

The Nexus 7 Tablet, however is a joint relationship with LG and Google as it tested the tablet market. Their tablet is able to go easily up against some of the best tablets in the market. For the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 faces some stiff competition against the Nexus 7 from Google looking at the price, design, hardware, and other specifications.

Display and Design

Looking at the display and design, the 7 inch display of the Nexus 7 is far superior to Galaxy Note 3’s 5.7 inch display. In looking further at the display, the Galaxy Note 3 uses a Full HD technology which is similar to what the Nexus 7 offers. Due to this, the Note 3 offers better pixel density than the Nexus 7. It is, however, hardly noticeable to the user. The user is able to make calls similar to those that have SIM cards. The Nexus 7 is able to provide support for 3G network.

Hardware

They are both powerful devices. In which the Galaxy Note 3 runs on an Android 4.4 that provides a smooth function along with a TouchWiz interface. It has a RAM capacity of 3G that makes for a performance that is lag-free. On the Nexus 7, it has a user interface that is customized to be similar to the TouchWiz from Samsung. The tablet however provides a really quick Android Vanilla OS. It also uses a quad-core processor that clocks at 1.5Ghz, compared to the quad-core processor of Galaxy Note 3 that clocks at 2.3GHz.

Memory

The Google Nexus 7 provides two variants that offer an internal storage of 16 and 32GB. On the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 it provides one variant at 64GB, and in additional provides expandable memory of up to 64B.

Battery and Camera

The Galaxy Note 3 provides a 13MP shooter, compared to the Google 7 Nexus 5MP camera.

They provide similar battery life on both devices. The larger belongs to the Nexus 7 with 3950mAh, compared to the Galaxy Note 3’s 3200 mAh battery.

Price

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is priced at $530. While the 16GB of the Google Nexus 7 is priced at $200.
