Announced back in December 2012, Evolve is an innovative take on sci-fi multiplayer shooters. Today, as promised by the developers at Turtle Rock Studios, the game got its first cinematic trailer. Although, it does not reveal much about the actual graphical fidelity and aesthetics of the game, it sure manages to get the thrill going.
Published by 2K Games, Evolve is created by the guys that brought us Left 4 Dead. It is the first official AAA FPS title that revolves around a four versus one gameplay. The four people will be the hunters in the game and the one playing against them will be the hunted monster. The game is being developed on the CryEngine, promising high definition graphics and visuals to back up the innovative gameplay. Unique abilities to the different characters and the monster will also be available to enhance the excitement and the thrill.
The game will be released in the third quarter of 2014 for the next-gen PlayStation 4 and Xbox One and the PC. The game is currently available for pre-order. The enthusiasts who want to be the first ones to get their hands on the game will receive new free monster character and a savage Goliath skin with their pre-order copy of the game.
