With a growing fan base, Dual SIM phones are popular in regions such as India and other markets. The ease of sticking two SIMS into one mobile phone is an appealing aspect to people, especially for people who talk continuously on their mobile. Many don’t feel like carrying two phones at once. So we are going to look at two phones that comes with capabilities for dual SIM. The Samsung Galaxy Duos 2 and the HTC Desire 210.
Display
Weighing 118 grams, the Samsung Galaxy Duos 2 has a WVGA 4 inch screen. It offers similar characteristics as the HTC Desire 210 that also offers a 4 inch WVGA resolution display. The HTC Desire 210 is heavier at 130 grams compared to the Duos 2.
Hardware
The Galaxy Duos 2 according to GSM Arena, has a dual-core Cortex processor that gets up to 1.2GHz. The HTC Desire 210 comes with a Mediatek processor that gets up to 1GHz. The dual core processor of the Duos 2 is much better than the HTC Desire 210. Both devices come with a low RAM capacity, with the Duos 2 having 768MB and the HTC Desire 210 having 512 MB.
Looking at the internal storage, they both provide internal storage of 4GB, but the Duos 2 can expand up to 64GB, and the Desire 210 expands up to 32GB.
Camera
The Samsung devices use a back 5MP camera that offers many features. While the VGA quality front facing camera, which isn’t much. The HTC Desire 201 uses the same front camera, and a rear 5 MP camera that doesn’t have any LED flash.
Battery
The 1500mAH battery on the Galaxy S Duos 2 is more than plentiful to power its device. While the Desire 210 uses a 1300mAh battery which is not that far behind.
Software
Both devices run on the Android JellyBean OS from Google, in which provides great user experience and smooth performance.
