Developer Square Enix has released a tech video for the eagerly awaited open-world Japanese role-playing game (JRPG) Final Fantasy XV, with it demonstrating the time spent in creating the environments and characters in the title.
The video, which was uploaded on PlayStation’s official YouTube channel, is called “Tech Demo Vol. 1,” and it showcases the construction of the vibrant environments that players will be able to explore and how the models for two characters — Noctis Lucis Caelum and Stella Nox Fleuret — were built.

Earlier this month, Square Enix released a walkthrough of a demo, dubbed “Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae,” that will be bundled with Final Fantasy Type-0 HD next year. Meanwhile, Hajime Tabata, director on Final Fantasy XV, confirmed details on what players can expect in upcoming JRPG, as he explained that players won’t be able to switch between characters and the title was developed in a way to “widen its appeal” to both the casual and hardcore audience.
Although Final Fantasy XV has not had a release date announced, Hajime Tabata did reveal that Square Enix has a release date set for the game, but he went on to say in the interview that he “can not give the exact date” at this moment in time. Final Fantasy XV will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
