Atlus teases the announcement of Etrian Odyssey V with a short trailer on YouTube
Today on their atlustube YouTube account Atlus has uploaded a teaser video for Etrian Odyssey V. This game will be the sixth entry in the series after last years Etrian Odyssey Untold and will be released for the Nintendo 3DS.
While the trailer doesn’t look like it would tell us much by itself (Bare in mind it is in Japanese), if you look closely you’ll notice that they did translate some of the words. These translated words are ‘Fountainhead’, ‘Consequences’, ‘Reason of the World’ and ‘Potential for Disaster’, and these translated words along with the somber monotone on which the voice actor is talking in, has already given the game a more serious, almost depressing feel.
The Etrian Odssyey series is Atlus’s first person dungeon crawling which takes some inspiration of from old school RPG titles, the series is known for its difficulty and players have to maintain their own maps.
Today on their atlustube YouTube account Atlus has uploaded a new video teasing Etrian Odyssey V, which will be coming out on the Nintendo 3DS.
