Telltale Games has announced the release dates for the first episode of Tales from the Borderlands, and it’s a lot closer than expected.
The first episode, titled Zero Sum, will be released later today for PlayStation 3 (North America only), PlayStation 4 (North America only), and PC users, while Xbox One users will be able to download the episode tomorrow. Meanwhile, Xbox 360 users and European PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 owners will be able to play the inaugural episode on December 3rd.
The price for all individual episodes on PlayStation and Xbox consoles will be $5, while a season pass option, that includes all 5 episodes of Tales from the Borderlands, will be priced at $20 for PlayStation console owners. Xbox console users will have the option to buy a $15 season pass upgrade after buying the first initial episode.
On the PC side, the price on Steam for the whole season is $25, but will be reduced to $22.49 if pre-ordered through the online store.
Telltale Games released a trailer earlier this month that gave viewers a taste of the story, style, and characters for Tales from the Borderlands. No release dates for future episodes from the series were given during this announcement.
