Free to play action RPG game Path of Exile will be receiving a brand new content patch on December 12th. The patch will introduce new challenge leagues and a huge PvP revamp. The ability to create instant level 28 characters purely for PvP will also be added, along with PvP tournaments and a new PvP focused master.
Patch 1.3.0 is great news if you’re a person who enjoys the player vs player combat in Path of Exile. Most of the new content added will be focused on the PvP aspect of the game. However, other aspects of Path of Exile will also be improved, such as changes to the passive skill tree, eight new gems and twenty five new unique items.
Path of Exile has been a great success for developers Grinding Gear Games with over five million registered players. The game is an action RPG similar to games like Diablo and Torchlight. The game is completely free to play with a cosmetic shop in game. Path of Exile has already had two successful expansion releases and patch 1.3.0 adds even more content at no extra cost. If you’re a fan of action RPGs, Path of Exile is definitely worth a look.
