Lightning won’t strike a third time for Ubisoft claims the lead designer of The Crew in a recent interview
In a recent interview with The Metropolist, The Crews lead designer Serkan Hasan told them that he has “confidence in the stability of the game and its performance” and claims that his team “have what it takes to make [this] a successful launch“.
The reason for Hasan’s confidence is due to the amount of Beta testing they have done for The Crew in order to test the game and the server capabilities. “For The Crew, we’ve reaped the benefits of a long-term beta program, designed specifically to push our infrastructure as far as possible in real world situations, with thousands of players from all over the world playing the game at the same time“.
Despite this confidence Hasan admitted during the interview that “The launch of any online game these days has potential issues but I hope that players will be encouraged by our open approach. If you had any doubts that we could pull this off, I hope that the betas proved our credentials and the game’s stability“.
After gamers encountered launch problems with both Assassin’s Creed Unity and Far Cry 4, gamers may be understandably uneasy about the idea of getting The Crew on launch. However in an interview with The Metropolist, the games lead designer Serkan Hasan told them that he has “confidence in the stability of the game and its performance” due to the amount of beta testing they have done.
The Crew is due out on December 2nd for the Xbox 360/One and the PS4 and PC.
