Telltale Games has released the launch trailer for the first episode in their new Game of Thrones game series.
The launch trailer (posted below) for the first episode, titled Iron from Ice, focuses on House Forester and some familiar faces from the HBO TV series, while also giving hints to the tone and story of the first episode.
Announced in late 2013, Game of Thrones is a six-episode game series that puts players in the role of five members from the House Forester family, and switches between the perspectives of the five family members over the course of the series.
The storyline is set within the continuity of the HBO TV series and takes place between the end of the third season until just before the start of the fifth season.
Game of Thrones will be available tomorrow, December 2nd in North America for PlayStation 3 and 4, while also releasing worldwide for Mac and PC the same day.
On December 3rd the title will be released for PlayStation 4 in Europe, and will also be released worldwide on Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Finally, December 4th will see the worldwide release on iOS, while December 9th will see the European release on PlayStation 3.
